Mattia Pifaretti and Lena Bickel Protagonists“At Home”

The Swiss lineup for 43rd MG is known.

We couldn't have gotten better news! The Swiss Federation has announced the names of the four Swiss representatives for the 43rd edition of the Arturo Gander Memorial.

In the men's field, we will have Mattia Piffaretti of SFGChiasso and Matteo Giubellini.

In the women's field, Lena Bickel of SFG Morbio Inferiore and Annie Wu.

Our Mattia Piffaretti, along with Matteo Giubellini, brilliantly won the team bronze medal at the recent EC in Zagreb, behind Germany and Russia. Lena Bickel, who along with Anny Wu qualified Switzerland for the upcoming WC in Rotterdam thanks to a 10th-place team finish, finished 10th in the combined final and 8th in the floor final.

The anticipation for the big event on November 5th is thus taking on a new dimension for us. The red-cross team will in fact be painted in the red-blue colours, to our immense satisfaction.
